Day 01: Delhi
Assistance on arrival at Delhi International airport, on arrival
you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel,
where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Relax
and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Morning take a sight seeing tour of Old & New Delhi.
Morning visit Old Delhi: The important places in Old Delhi include
the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk and if time
permits you can visit Raj Ghat the Memoir of Mahatma Gandhi.
Afternoon visit New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time
imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial
raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan
war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of Indias
leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din
Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Bahai Temple.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi Mandawa (275 kms - 5 hrs)
Morning checkout and drive to Mandawa, traditional welcome on arrival
transfer to Castle Mandawa Hotel. Rest of the day visit compact
little town of Shekhavati region comprising of Forts and Havelis
of beautiful frescoes. While touring this town a painted arched
gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar.
Evening enjoy folk dance and music. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Mandawa Bikaner (175 kms- 3 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Nawalgarh 30 kms, the town
where the finest of the Shekhavatis frescoes can be seen.
Its havelis still bear witness to the rich & prosperous
Marwari era of the 19th century. Worth visiting are the Aath Haveli
complexes, Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat Haveli &
Chokhani Haveli. Drive to Bikaner 175 kms (3 hrs), transfer
to hotel on arrival. Evening free to relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Bikaner
Morning take a sight seeing tour of Bikaner covering Junagadh Fort
constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, fort
has a 986 meter long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances,
Bhand Sagar Temple The 16th century Jain temple, is the most
important of this temple complex, Camel Breeding Farm a unique
experience where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the
first taste of camels milk. Later in the evening take an excursion
tour to Deshnok Temple situated in semi desert village at a distance
of 30 kms, this place is famous for Karni Mata Temple where you
will see thousands of rats roaming freely in the temple complex
and are held sacred. If one sees white rat in the temple complex,
than it is believed to be very lucky. Enjoy sunset from here over
the small dunes & drive back to Bikaner for overnight.
Day 06: Bikaner Gajner - Jaisalmer (333 kms 6
Morning checkout and drive to Jaisalmer, enroute take an off beat
track to see Gajner Lake & Palace surrounded by Gajner wild
life sanctuary. Later proceed to Jaisalmer, arrive and check into
hotel. Afternoon free to relax or enjoy the city atmosphere. Evening
visit Gadisar Lake, Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Jaisalmer
Morning take a sight seeing tour of Jaisalmer covering Jaisalmer
Fort built on the highest point of the Tricuta hill, consisting
of 99 bastions. Outstanding features are Megh Durbar & various
temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & PatwonKi-Haveli
some of the beautiful mansions with stone carving and latticework
of breath taking intricacy. Rest of the day free to relax, Early
evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes 45 kms enroute visit the
ancient Temple of Lodurwa, Amar Sagar and Mool Sagar Lakes. Arrive
Sam Sand Dunes and transfer on Camels and enjoy camel rides on the
dunes till the sunset. Drive back to Jaisalmer for overnight.
Day 08: Jaisalmer Manvaar (170 kms 3 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Manvaar, (Manvaar is village which
falls under Shergarh Taluka and Shergarh Taluka is known for its
highest sand dunes in the Thar Desert) on arrival transfer to Manvaar
Desert Resort by afternoon. After lunch drive by jeeps to Manvaar
Campsite, on arrival transfer on Camels and enjoy the rugged desert
safari till sun set. Return to the campsite by sun set and transfer
tin the Swiss tents pitched on the site. These tents have spacious
bed rooms and sitting area with attached bathroom. The camp site
also have a restaurant to food & beverages. Enjoy campfire with
folk dance and music while you have dinner. Overnight in the tents.
Day 09: Manvaar Jodhpur (110 kms 2 hours)
Early morning one can take camel safari at the time of sun rise,
later checkout and drive to Jodhpur, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Day free to relax till 1500 hrs, later visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant
Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Evening visit Balsamand Lake and
Palace, overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Jodhpur Ranakpur - Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur (276
kms 5 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Udaipur, enroute visit the 12th Century
Temples of Ranakpur which stands on 1444 carved pillars each carved
differently from others, proceed to Kumbhalgarh Fort enroute to
Udaipur. Kumbhalgarh Fort is known for its longest wall of 36 kms
surrounding the fort with 360 inbuilt temples in the wall, some
of the temple now leis in the state of ruin. Proceed to Udaipur,
on arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight at
Day 11: Udaipur
Morning visit City Palace located amidst Lake Pichola, comprising
of Crystal Gallery, Durbar Hall and Jagdish Temple. Later in the
day visit Sahelion Ki Bari The garden for the
maids of honour of the queen. Evening visit Eklingji & Nagda
Temples built in white marble with a double storied porch
on the bank of Lake bagel 22 kms from Udaipur. Drive back
to Udaipur for overnight.
Day 12: Udaipur Bijaipur (150 kms 3 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Bijaipur enroute visit one of the
finest forts of Asia; Chittaurgarh Fort comprising of Man Palace,
Padminis Palace, and Towers of Peace and Victory, you will be driving
on this fort to cover all this places. One can have good lunch at
Pratap Palace in Chittaurgarh and proceed to Bijaipur. On arrival
transfer to Castle Bijaipur which is a 16 Century Castle owned &
run by descendants of Maharana Pratap. Later in the day visit Lotus
Lake & take a jeep drive into the tribal villages of Bijaipur
to see the tribal lifestyle. Enjoy folk dance & music while
you dine at the courtyard of the hotel, overnight in Bijaipur.
Day 13: Bijaipur Bundi (100 kms - 2 hrs)
Morning checkout and drive to Bundi Bundi, enroute visit Shiva
Temple on the edge of a hill where Menal Water falls commence, this
is a very scenic place, proceed to Bundi on arrival transfer to
hotel. Later visit Taragarh Fort built in 1354 A.D., Bundi Palace,
Chhattar Mahal, Ratan Daulat, Chitrashala, Nawal Sagar lake, Raniji
- Ki - Baori (Step well), Sukh Mahal, Phool Sagar, and eighty four
pillared cenotaph (All near Taragarh Fort and Bundi Palace). Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 14: Bundi Pushkar (200 kms 4 hours)
Morning drive to Pushkar. Arrive Pushkar and check in at
hotel. Later visit Pushkar Lake which is believed by the Hindus
to be as old as creation, has been a place of pilgrimage through
the centuries. There are 52 bathing Ghats built around the lake.
Also visit the only temple of Lord Krishna. Pushkar draws thousands
of tourist every year in the month of November to witness the Pushkar
Fair. One can also visit Ajmer to see Taragarh Fort, Adhai Din ka
Jhopda & Shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, evening free to
relax, overnight in Pushkar.
Day 15: Pushkar Jaipur (131 kms hours)
Early morning one can visit the lakeside to see devotees offering
prayers to the sun god at the time of sunrise. Later checkout and
drive to Jaipur 131 kms, on arrival transfer to hotel. After
freshen up visit Sanganer a small village, 16 km south of Jaipur,
well known for their hand-made paper and block printing. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 16: Jaipur
Morning take an excursion tour to Amber Fort where one can enjoy
Elephant ride to ascend the Fort. Later take a sight take a sight
seeing tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace Complex, Hawa Mahal,
and Jantar Mantar. Rest of the day is kept free to explore the Carpet,
Gems & Jewellery markets of Jaipur. Evening one can visit Chokhi
Dhani - an ethnic resort serving Rajasthani cuisine with live music
and puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic village. Return to
the hotel for overnight.
Day 17: Jaipur Ranthambhor (180 kms 3 to 4 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Ranthambhor, on arrival transfer to
Jungle Resort, day free to relax, take Game Drive by Jungle Safari
van at 1600 hrs till 1800 hrs, evening free to relax, overnight
at the Jungle Resort.
Day 18: Ranthambhor Agra (230 kms 5 hours)
Early morning visit the National Park again for Game Drive, while
returning from the game drive visit Ranthambhor Fort, Morning checkout
and drive to Agra 230 kms, enroute visiting the old dynasty
of Mughals; Fatehpur & Sikri, visit the Fort, Bulund Darwaza
and Shrine of Shaikh Salim Chisti. Later proceed to Agra, on arrival
transfer to hotel. Evening one can visit the Taj Mahal to see it
over the sunset. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 19: Agra Delhi (200 kms 4 hours)
Early morning one can visit the Taj Mahal to see it over the sunrise,
later in the day visit Agra Fort, Ittamuddaulahs Tomb and Moti Masjid.
Later checkout and drive to Delhi, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Evening free to relax, overnight in Delhi.
Day 20: Delhi Home
In time transfer to International airport to board the flight back
